Large panel mold system is similar to tunnel form system. In large panel mold, all internal and external walls are concreted in one step and total structure is solid and cause more tensions in building against lateral loads and is considered as a suitable construction system. After performing walls of a floor, the contractor will perform ceiling by modular, light ceiling methods by his discretion. In this system, the molds are manufactured for walls in solid form.

Walls formwork system

First Step: after performing foundation and armature, the molds are installed based on related plan. It is reminded that the molds are manufactured in solid form and their accessories including regulating brocket of mold, concreting platform, shooting, middle belt, etc., are installed.

Second Step: after performing first step, the molds are opened and the ceiling is performed by one of above methods.

Third Step: after armature, the molds are transported by tower (crane) to second floor and previous performed ceiling is as a brocket seat for mold support and brocket of external wall is assembled in holes made by previous belts and is as a seat of brocket of mold support and this cycle is continued up to last floor. Another advantage of large panel mold is being solid and great for performing expose concrete wall and as formwork accessories is very less than modular mold and don’t need to special clamp, the panels are closed and opened in a shortest time and also the mold is transported by a hook on the mold quickly.

Although price of large panel formwork system is more than modular concrete mold but use of this system decreases price cost considering to high speed of operation, high quality of concrete, and also omission of middle belts and other accessories.

In large panel formwork system, it is possible to prepare openers, frames of doors and windows based on plan and a special shooting is installed on mold for facility of concreting. Weight of panels is decreased in design of modular large panel. Weight of modular large panel is about 55 Kg.
